Kristen Henderson - The Bio
- Hangin' With Hendo
- My name is Kristen Henderson. I founded the all female rock band Antigone Rising. We were signed to Lava/Atlantic Records in 2003, released "From the Ground Up" through Starbucks/Hear Music in 2005, toured the country with The Stones, The Doors, Aerosmith, The Allmans, Rob Thomas, Joan Jett & The Blackhearts and The Bangles to name a few. Our new CD, 23 Red (Blackheart Records/MMD), came out on August 2, 2011 (iTunes, online, records stores, the whole sha-bang).
In May, 2008 my parnter Sarah and I got pregnant simultaneously. Literally on the same day. In February, 2009 our son & daughter, Thomas & Kate, were born. We wrote a memoir for Simon & Schuster (Free Press) about our experience. The book is called Times Two and is in bookstores everywhere.
Oh, and this is my blog. I write true life stories and post them here while the babies are napping. Sometimes I blog about bruises I get from chasing twins, or vintage guitars I'm selling, or crazy people I meet on the way to a show. You never know what you're going to get, so check back often and leave your thoughts.
